Chosen Memories, the catalogue

The catalogue for Chosen Memories: Contemporary Latin American Art from the Patricia Phelps de Cisneros Gift and Beyond features three of my photographs from the Crepuscular series. Patricia Phelps de Cisneros donated Purple Haze, The Most Dangerous City in the World, and Lights On to MoMA back in 2018. I feel incredibly honoured to be included in this catalogue and exhibition, which was organized by Inés Katzenstein with Julia Detchon, together with 38 other artists I respect and admire. Luis Molina-Pantin, Sheroanawë Hakihiiwë, Claudio Perna, and Roberto Obregón are further Venezuelan artists who are featured in the show.

The catalogue includes a homonym text by Inés Katzenstein and the text by Julia Detchon A Brief History of the Colección Patricia Phelps de Cisneros and the Latin American Collection at The Museum of Modern Art.
